TurboFire 30 Day Results

I’ve reached yet another milestone in my fitness journey. A month ago I started a brand new Beachbody program called TurboFire by Chalene Johnson. The workouts are 30-60 minutes long, 6 days a week. It’s mostly kickboxing moves for cardio and several resistance training workouts too. Chalene choreographed all the moves to go with the beat of awesome music. There’s “Push It”, “Rapper’s Delight”, “Le Freak”, “In the Ayer”, and “Wiggle It” to name a few of the songs. It took me a couple of times doing the workouts to get used to the moves and the lingo. Once I learned the lingo though, it was all downhill from there. This program is just flat out fun! I really look forward to jammin’ to the music everyday.

My numbers… well, they hardly changed at all. Which was my fault. I slipped and had a couple cheat days instead of cheat meals. Had I ate cleaner, I know that my numbers would’ve looked better. Believe me, I’m kicking myself right now. We all make mistakes though. There’s nothing I can do about the past. I will clean up my act in the future though.

I suppose I’ll show my numbers anyway…

Weight -1lbs.
Body Fat 0
Chest 0
Waist 0
Hips 0
Rt. Thigh 0
Lt. Thigh 0
Rt. Arm +1/2in.
Lt. Arm +1/2in.

Told ya, pretty weak numbers. My biceps are getting a little bigger from all the punches, so that’s cool. I don’t think my inches will move much more anyway. I just would’ve liked to see the body fat go down a percent or two.

Minor improvements are better than none! I see some sculpting happening in some areas. Moving forward I must stick with the TurboFire diet, and I will do just that!

Well done girl! Might I say that I love all your bikini's you've sported in all your pictures!

I'm happy to see that even you have cheat days/meals but I feel you 100% on giving yourself a hard time at the end. I feel that way a bit. I'm still giving myself crap for my vacation weeks off, BUT we'll both bounce back from this.

I am really excited about this program - it will be the light at the end of my P90X - Insanity tunnel. I used to dance in HS and when I was younger so it really appeals to me but I'm happy to see it's not all just dance and kick boxing etc that there is fun stuff in the mix too.

I'm getting a bit bored with P90X - not so much the weight lifting stuff, I like that, it's the other cardio stuff that's boring me - mostly plyo and yoga - I think it's all the repetition - I still love Kempo. Not long now I won't have to worry about that - I just try to remember it might be the same thing but it's giving me time to perfect it.

Now if I could just make it ALL the way through the Ab Ripper without dying I'll be stoked.

Keep up the great work girl! How long is the TurboFire program? 2 months? 3 months? I love that it's SO much workout in such little time! Good for busy people.

Hey girl!

I see the sculpting too! I bet your body fat changed a BIT, just not enough for the tool you're using to measure it :) You could try the measuring tape method too and count every little 1/16th of an inch change, I suppose. :p I think, however, that you are already in the low body fat range for women, though. Just keep cutting it up!

GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!

Great job girl! Don't get hung up on the bumps you hit with the diet. We are all human and it's going to happen. I know you will crush your next 30 days!

You look fabulous and to me it seems you have probably hit the low end on your numbers so there wont be much of a change, just toning!

Thanks for posting your results! You have been such a motivation to me since I started the Beachbody leg of my fitness journey. You made that first round of P90X easier for me ;)

Down a pound? I'll take it! You just keep getting smaller and smaller! I know for me the 5 to 10 pounds I want to lose are SO HARD to drop. Thanks for posting your results! TurboFire is AWESOME!

You look amazing anyways, girl! I'm guessing with this program you won't see much change since you are already toned and slim!

As long as you're not gaining, that's success! TurboFire is awesome, I'm totally addicted! Thanks for all your updates, you seriously make us all want to live healthier lives!
And we are also in the monsters/"I hate my room" phase with our 3 year old. Such fun. Plus we have the added bonus of serious temper tantrums and stubborn unsuccessful potty training!! Help!!!!

Oh I GUESS we'll let a cheat day (or 4) slide. ;) We are starting our 4th week of Insanity and I have to be honest, I'll be happy to not hear Shaun T say "sometimes, as a fitness professional, I wonder why I do the things I do...because I wanna LOOK GOOD!" and saying to that one girl "you never wore a sports bra before Insanity did you?" Just one more week until new DVDs!

I think Turbo Fire might be our next step. Neal wants to start Insanity all over again...but I need something different. I'm not seeing the results that you did...but I'm not changing my eating at all. I'm still toning up and losing weight, just not as rapidly. I'm OK with that. If I didn't have a glass of wine and a chocolate chip cookie every now and then, my head would explode. I still think you look AHMAZEBALLS and you should be so proud of your progress!

Oh my gosh, you make me sick-- in that "insanely jealous" kind of way, of course! You look phenomenal!!!! Every time you post on your workout routines, you make me want to try them out. Maybe one day, I'll get off my butt and stop being so lazy!
