INSANITY- 30 Day Results

A month ago I started a 60 day Beachbody program called INSANITY. The first month consists of four different boot camp style cardio workouts; each one is about 35-40 minutes long. I’m not going to lie, before I started INSANITY, I made myself announce to everyone that I was going to do it. That way I’d be held accountable for completing the program. I’m glad I did because on Day 1 I had to do a fit test as the first workout. I was drenched with sweat and all I could think of was, “What in the world did I just get myself into?!”.

I was a little anxious for what I was in for on Day 2. It turned out that it did kick my butt, but at the same time I loved it, go figure! I couldn’t wait to get through the week to see what all the workouts were going to be like for the rest of the first month. Then the first 30 days was all over before I knew it!

Body Fat -2%
Chest 0
Waist -1in.
Hips 0
Rt. Thigh +1/4in.
Lt. Thigh +1/2in.
Rt. Arm +1/4in.
Lt. Arm +1/4in.

Not much change in my numbers, but there’s not too much room for them to move anyway. I’m good with my weight and measurements really. My goal is to shred the body fat and replace it with lean muscle. I’m getting there for sure! I also wouldn’t mind getting a 6 pack too. It takes some time to dig through that deep tissue that was left from my two pregnancies. Hopefully after I’ve tackled the last 30 days of the program I will start to see some abs shining through. Here’s to hoping!

I can definitely tell that the fat is being replace by lean body mass! Especially in your back, in your rhomboids and lats! Way to go, girl! Some women just give up the body to the way of nature after 2 kids (which is SOOOO tempting) but way to fight back and give Mother Nature the big middle finger! You look awesome. AND the pool opens next weekend. ;)

You can definitely see where you lost from your waist in the second pics! You look fabulous!

You are so much better prepared for pool season than I am. :)

I would say you are insane for doing this, but I know that it is so worth it! I am struggling through P90X and I am not even committed to the full program.

I noticed that with P90X and Insanity that so far you've lost about 12% body fat...which is so awesome! Would you mind telling me what your body fat percentage is now? If not, that's ok. I've been a workout maniac and my scale tells me my body fat percentage and I was just wondering if I'm close to what you're at. You can tell that you've lost fat and replaced it with muscle. I'm going to be starting P90X pretty soon. Thanks for sharing your results.

You are crazy motivated and I respect that, but I think you look amazing enough already!

(I'm just jealous because I'm preggers and I'm going to get fat.)

At least you are a shining example that it is possible to look great after giving birth!

You look incredible and I am soooo jealous. I need to look into this. I only just started Level 3 of the 30-Day Shred, and that is killing me...can't imagine doing Insanity...you go, girl!
