A month ago I started a 60 day Beachbody program called INSANITY. The first month consists of four different boot camp style cardio workouts; each one is about 35-40 minutes long. I’m not going to lie, before I started INSANITY, I made myself announce to everyone that I was going to do it. That way I’d be held accountable for completing the program. I’m glad I did because on Day 1 I had to do a fit test as the first workout. I was drenched with sweat and all I could think of was, “What in the world did I just get myself into?!”.
I was a little anxious for what I was in for on Day 2. It turned out that it did kick my butt, but at the same time I loved it, go figure! I couldn’t wait to get through the week to see what all the workouts were going to be like for the rest of the first month. Then the first 30 days was all over before I knew it!

Not much change in my numbers, but there’s not too much room for them to move anyway. I’m good with my weight and measurements really. My goal is to shred the body fat and replace it with lean muscle. I’m getting there for sure! I also wouldn’t mind getting a 6 pack too. It takes some time to dig through that deep tissue that was left from my two pregnancies. Hopefully after I’ve tackled the last 30 days of the program I will start to see some abs shining through. Here’s to hoping!
